You Can’t Figure It Out By Letting Everyone Tell You How To Do It
Content creators are working hard to get your attention so they can tell you how to do things and profit from it. I am doing the same thing writing this post behind the Medium paywall, but I want to add a concept that can help us manage our content consumption addiction. All the information in the world can’t help us achieve a thing if we don’t stop consuming and start doing.
Authenticity Leads To Ownership

Doing things, the way we were told to doesn’t lead to authenticity which is an important part of making things our own. Imitation is a great way to get started, but if we want to own it, it has to be an expression of us. We take what we are told and do it long enough to put our own slant on it.
