When You Can’t Figure Out The Next Step & Why Things Aren’t Getting Done

At the beginning of the semester the professor sends the class a syllabus. That all too wonderful guide telling students what materials are needed, what assignments to complete, and by when. Any student will tell you that anyone who looks at it can plan their work ahead and ensure they make deadlines. We go to the first class, get an assignment, complete it, attend the next class, and repeat the cycle. Eventually we work through all the classes and complete all the assignments and you know what happens if we get a passing grade, we have completed the class. What happened to get us to successfully complete the class?

In the back yard a seed is placed in a hole in the ground and covered with dirt. The seed is watered and starts to grow. Eventually a plant breaks through the seed and roots and a stem grow. As the plant grows leaves start to form on the stems. The leaves absorb the sunlight and that makes food for the plant. Some plants grow buds which become flowers. The flowers can turn into…
