Crisis is a beautiful catalyst for change. It presents us with a decision point. Are we going to let this bog us down or are we going to move forward? The array of innovation during difficult times is impressive. People design creative solutions when forced to. Breakthroughs are forthcoming when researchers are pushed up against a wall. Survivors innovate. When pushed to make a sudden shift we fail from a lack of ingenuity. I enjoy watching what happens during crisis. To see what new solutions are created and how creativity is used to brighten and move the world forward. It is ultimately what gets us through.

There is an artist and creative in everyone. Being forced into solitary confinement is a perfect opportunity to discover your hidden artist. Strip the busyness of life away and what do you have? If all you have is Netflix, you might want to consider finding a way to discover talent that you have hidden, or forgotten. Work and responsibilities force unused or undiscovered talent into a cast. It chokes and dies from a lack of freedom. Our personalities have been detracted from as we are not able to fully express ourselves. Faced with boredom and the need to let off steam we should consider doing something that will enrich our lives.
