I started Today’s Seasoned Woman as a place to talk about parenting, marriage, relationships, and being a seasoned woman. Common Place Notebook is a publication that I started to provide powerful connections to ideas and concepts that we can use for writing and life. CPNB’s companion is Skeptic’s Notion which lives on Substack. That’s where I share ideas for great content. Writers ask good questions and Skeptic’s helps them find the answers.

During the day I am an analyst and lead process improvement projects as a LSSB. Born and raised in Indiana and recently settled in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I am a wife, mother, daughter, dog lover, exercise nut, foodie, adventurer, hiker, and traveler. I am obsessed with books and used bookstores. Books find me. I spend all the time I can studying, researching, compiling information, and learning. Writing is an outlet I am passionate about because it gives me the opportunity to connect with people. Helping people and organizations is the reason I was born.
